Shane Blum
Associate, Wealth Advisor
Shane Blum is an Associate Wealth Advisor at Element Pointe Family Office. With a focus on asset allocation, complex financial planning, and estate planning, Shane designs and implements personalized investment and wealth management strategies tailored to the needs of ultra-high-net-worth clients with complex balance sheets.
He has experience across public and private markets, institutional portfolio management, and capital markets execution. Prior to joining Element Pointe, Shane was an Associate Portfolio Manager at AllianceBernstein, where he supported a multi-billion-dollar emerging markets investment strategy. Earlier in his career, Shane worked on the equity and debt capital markets desk at Goldman Sachs, where he participated in the execution of numerous transactions totaling into the billions. He also held roles at the New York Stock Exchange where he advised companies navigating public markets via IPOs, SPAC transactions, and cross-border listings.
Shane’s perspective is informed by personal international exposure. He lived in Vancouver, Canada and, during college, studied at the Université de Fribourg in Switzerland. He also was on the ski team during the 2017 Audi FIS World Cup. He currently resides in Miami, FL.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations and a Law minor focused on Economics from the University of Arizona, where he graduated with Honors and Dean’s List distinction.
